2025 Defensive Back Javion Holiday Out of Duncanville High School Discusses his Recent LSU Offer

This past week LSU reached out to Javion Holiday to extend a scholarship offer and Holiday shared with us how that went down and what it means to him. The 6'1"-183lbs Junior is rated as a 3 star with an overall ranking nationally of No. 438 by ON3. TX Top Talent Has him as the No.5 DB in Texas for 2025.

On how the offer happened "The safety coach talked me after my spring game and gave it to me." He says regarding the offer "the LSU offer means a lot to me because it is my dream school." He says he plans of getting to LSU for visit either in June or July. Last season he had 2 touchdowns on special teams with 4 pass break ups 1 interception,and 10 tackles. His film from last year shows show really good pass coverage with exceptional athletic ability that shows from his time running track and he is a solid tackler.


He currently holds offers from the likes of LSU, Texas, Arizona State and North Texas. When I asked who he is hearing from the most he shared with me " all the schools that offered me are showing love." On what he is looking for in a school he added "a school that have good education and willing to teach me a lot of things."


He also says when asked if he models his game after anyone " I like to watch all DB’s and take some of they skills and put it into my game but I don't want to be like nobody else I wanna be the first me."When describing his game he labels himself as "smart and energetic." Regarding his goals for his Junior season he added "make first team all district be ranked top DB in my class and win state again."
