Class of 2026 DB Isaiah Williams on LSU offer and upcoming season

LSU recently offered 2026 DB Isaiah Williams out of "THE" Marshall Buffalos Football program in Missouri City, TX. Williams . Williams is a 6'1"-180 lbs defensive back with offers from LSU, Baylor, Arkansas, Texas and Nebraska to name a few. As a freshman he played half a season and had 21.5 tackles 3 PBU on a Marshall Buffalos team that reached the sate quarterfinals.

Expect much more from the up and coming sophomore as he has high expectations for himself. When asked what his goals are this season he stated "lead state in all categories and be number 1 in the nation." Williams has been busy in the weight room where he increased his power clean from 225 lbs to 275 lbs in the last few months.

When i asked who it was that extended the offer he said it Safeties Coach Kerry Cooks who made the offer. His reaction the offer " WOW, What a blessing. Extremely blessed". He described himself as a "leader and a playmaker". On what he is looking for in a school "what school is going to develop me as a football player and a person and get me to the league."

Williams displays good closing speed and is a sure tackler and seems to have made an impact on special team and covering the slot. He definitely has a bright future and has shown and improvement in strength in the weight room and i am sure it will translate to the field.
