I was able to get some of the leaders of this class thoughts on where they think this class goes from here and more.

On any recruits these guys are working to add to this class :

Tayvion Galloway - " Jordan Ross is the one who comes to my mind right off the top of my head. Also wanting guys to come from Ohio with me like Jake Grimm and Tito Glass."

Joseph "Jo Jo" Stone- "A couple recruits I would love to join our recruiting class is Bredell Richardson and Collin Simmons. I really enjoy Watching Bredell catch the ball in any area it’s thrown and I love seeing Collin dominate and have the swag he has to him I think them two will do huge things at LSU "

Colin Hurley- “I’ve tried to embrace, and emerge, being a leader for the ‘24 Class. Obviously, I’m not working alone, but yes, we have a list of recruits that we’re targeting to join us. The ‘24 Class is strong - we have 14 commits, and I am confident we will close a few more commits soon.”

Kolaj "Tut" Cobbins- "I would like to see Wardell (Mack) come join the class and Tylen Singleton and more Louisianimals."

On what they think of what Brian Kelly was able to do in year one :

Tayvion Galloway - " I think he did exactly what he said he is going to do and then some. It was very impressive work by him and the staff"

Joseph "Jo Jo" Stone- "Hey I think what coach Kelly did in year one shows his ability to win and his ability to coach up a group of guys .

Colin Hurley- “What Coach Kelly did his first season was remarkable. He inherited a team that was troubled in so many ways. It was short on scholarship players, plagued with a toxic culture, lacked leadership and direction, and was a shell of what LSU football is about.”

Kolaj "Tut" Cobbins- "I think coach Kelly did a good job for what he did in year one I mean going to the sec championship first year is amazing he’s a like a scientist to me he’s knows what to fix like different kind of experiments."

What do these guys think of the recruiting class being assembled:

Tayvion Galloway - " It’ll be one of the most elite in the country without a doubt. Most of us are bought in and ready to bring more national titles to BR.

Colin Hurley- “The ‘24 Class will be solid. It’s already a strong group amongst the rankings, but it’s really deeper than that. LSU has owned the state of Louisiana and has demonstrated it can, and will, go into other states to get talent. This class is going to open some eyes. We’re not done. When you look at the current roster and then add what we’re bringing in with the ‘24 Class, and this staff, I think LSU is going to be in good shape.”

On how the staff is planning on using them :

Joseph "Jo Jo" Stone- "Coach Hank and coach Carter are familiar with my abilities and want to place me anywhere on the field where I’m going to be able to dominate."

Kolaj "Tut" Cobbins- "L.SU is going to use me in the jack position it’s where you pass rush pass drop read pretty much do everything"

As one of the top TE in the country i asked Tayvion his thoughts on Mason Taylor's performance as a true freshman and here is what he had to say " What do you think of Mason Taylor’s performance as a true freshman. I think he did well. Looking forward to his improvement from year 1 to 2."

Colin on Jayden Daniels growth and progression under Joe Sloan " “I think Jayden Daniels showed tremendous growth, under Coach Sloan, since his arrival to LSU, and throughout the season. Dare we remind people that he did this in the SEC and led his team to winning the SEC West.” He added " “We saw his pocket awareness improve throughout the season. He also worked to improve on going through progressions and balancing his dual-threat abilities.” On his relationship with Jayden Daniels " “I’ve gotten to know Jayden and I’m happy to see his success. I have also developed a close relationship with Coach Sloan and Coach Denbrock, and know they’re very detailed. They want Quarterbacks to lead the team, be prepared, make reads and progressions, throw on time and be athletic.”

Kolaj On what it means as a Louisiana kid to wear the purple & gold " And it means a lot to wear purple and gold. I get to put on for my city, I’m staying in Louisiana, I’m a boot boy and now it’s time to prove that to the world."

Colin On his thoughts on Joe Sloan "“I was being recruited by nearly every Division 1 program and there were definitely some ‘deal-breakers’ we considered. One of those was the Quarterback Room and if the program could develop me and prepare me for the best level. I believe that’s the case, at LSU, under Coach Sloan. We saw that with Jayden and I’m confident I will thrive there. I really like what I see from Coach Sloan. His understanding of the position and offense is very impressive.”

My thoughts on this class and where it is headed are that I love the way Brian Kelly is attacking recruiting. While we have seen across all sports on campus a movement of bringing Louisiana talent home to LSU. Brian Kelly with this class is showing he is not just going with the star rankings but off of evaluations and getting players from the state regardless of where they are ranked rather than having to bring them home after they have shined somewhere else . On top of that he is hitting the Texas region and the southeast region for some of the premier players while reaching back into his Mid-West ties from previous stops. I think we continue to see that trend continue as they fill this class come signing day.

Here are my .02 on some players that I think will end up in the class by signing day.
