LSU Football Recruiting is 3X as Sweet This Week with Some Huge Pickups

After parting ways with long time commitment, 4-Star TE Tayvion Galloway over the weekend the Bayou Bengals of LSU have gone on a streak this week in picking up top flight talent.

The work week started on Monday with LSU picking up a huge commitment from in state Safety Joel Rogers out of West Feliciana HS in Saint Francisville, La. Rogers is rated as 4 Star prospect by ON3 recruiting. They have the 6'0"-185lbs class of 2024 safety ranked No.186 Nationally, the No.4 player in the state of Louisiana and the No.17 Safety in the country.

Then Wednesday rolled around they were back at when the underrated Kylan Billiot announced he was also staying HOME. The 6'3" - 190 lbs class of 2024 WR out of Terrebone is ranked unranked Nationally by One3 but the ON3 Consensus has him No. 561 Nationally No.90 WR and the No. 14 player in the state of Louisiana.

The Tigers decided they would go for a 3 peat as on Thursday they followed the two in-state pickups up with an out of state Top 100 talent. One of the more heavily sought after players in the country when Nashville native, Ondre Evans decided to call LSU home. The 6'0"- 185lbs class of 2024 cornerback is rated as a 4 Star by ON3 and they rank him No.84 Nationally and the number 12 cornerback in the country and the No.1 overall player in the state of Tennessee. Brian Kelly. Kerry Cooks and Robert Steeples are putting a huge emphasis on the defensive back room in this class and Evans is a huge piece of the puzzle.
