LSU Lands Big Time Kentucky Transfer in Former 5 Star McDonalds All-American Daimion Collins

Matt McMahon lands one of his first major pick ups in former 5-Star McDonald's All-American Daimion Collins out of Kentucky. The 6'9" -210 lbs forward was the No. 14 prospect in the country coming out of high school in Atlanta, Texas.

Collins only averaged 7.5 min per game for Kentucky last season but is someone I look to see get a lot more playing time at LSU. In the time he played he averaged 1.9 PPG, 1.9 REB, and .7 BLK. If you watch his highlights you will see he is an elite shot blocker and is someone around the rim who can get you put backs and provide much needed help on the offensive boards. This is a big get for the LSU Tigers and Matt McMahon as he tries to rebuild off of a dismal season.
