LSU dips into the Alabama roster for a second pitcher after already landing Kade Woods recently. Luke Holman,the 6'4"-195lbs Right-handed Sophomore is the latest addition to the Tigers staff. Holman was Alabama's ace pitcher this past season, finishing with a 7-4 record . After pitching 81 innings he had a 3.67 ERA Holman while recording 87 strikeouts walked 31 batters for a K/9 ratio of 9.66.
The Sinking Spring,PA native only allowed just 6.00 hits per 9.0 innings to rank 10th nationally and third in the SEC. While his 1.05 WHIP was the second-lowest in the league and ranked 16th in Division I.Holman limited opposing hitters to a .186 mark that was the lowest on the Alabama roster and ranked third in the SEC. Holding SEC opponents to a .191 average, the second-lowest mark among all conference pitchers.
