Braelyn discussed what helped her to know LSU was the right program for her "I’ve attended several LSU softball camps and other sporting events. My father is from Baton Rouge, and this allowed me to visit the city and campus many times over the years. I love the atmosphere on campus. It’s also cool to see how the community supports the Tigers. During my visit, the coaches were authentic and made me feel very welcome. It really did feel just like home." On what other programs LSU had to contend with for her commitment she stated "I had interest and opportunities from another SEC , a PAC 10 & Sun Belt schools."
Daniels spoke on her bond with current LSU commit Cali Deal " My travel ball teammate and good friend Cali Deal is also committed to LSU. We have spent the last 2 years playing together and won the Alliance Tier 1 National Championship together at 14u. I look forward to catching her in college." She added "I follow all the recent commits to LSU Softball. The team is stacked with some of the most talented players in the country. I’ve been fortunate to play against a few of them and look forward to being on the same team in a couple of years." We talked about her relationship with the staff and she said "Outside of attending LSU for my degree, the other thing I’m most excited about is being coached by the LSU coaching staff. They have watched me play a lot of games over the past few years. They have all been successful coaching the nation’s best softball players. I found them to be easy to talk to at camps. I trust them. As a catcher, I look forward to building an even stronger relationship with the coaching staff ."
On where the staff sees her playing " I was primarily recruited as a catcher. However, I played outfield for several years starting out in softball. I have the athleticism to play infield and outfield. I just love playing softball and I’m open to playing wherever I can help the team win.Daniels on what drives her "I’m a perfectionist. I work hard at doing things right. Also, I love competing every day" What are LSU fans in store for "I want them to know I am a competitor. they are getting someone who values the privilege and opportunity to be an LSU student athlete. I will put my heart into training and competing. I want them to know I will never back down from a challenge." Braelyn says when she isn't playing or practicing she has many hobbies " I love arts and crafts. I like listening to music and watching movies with my family. She can be found "watching baseball and softball games on You Tube. She also enjoys "going to the beach with my friends and family."
