Playing for the Central Wildcats during school and excelling with the Unity National Savant travel team, she has proven her skills in key positions. One of AJ’s standout qualities is her adaptability. This ability allows her to switch positions seamlessly and excel in multiple sports. She further remarked, "I would also describe it as deadly because I always admired Kobe; his playing style and dedication to his craft earned him the title of the black mamba."

In athletics, AJ's ranking as the No. 13 overall player and No. 2 infielder for the Class of 2028 by Extra Innings underscores her potential. Her involvement in the USA Softball High-Performance Program (HPP) Event enabled her to excel further. Reaching the All-Star Game and earning second place in the home run derby highlights her well-deserved success, demonstrating her talent and determination.

I know it took a lot of buy in to get where I am today and knowing that I can work harder and still aren't to the level I am capable of being at. That drives me to get better"

She The camp that stood out the most to her was " The Oklahoma Hitting Camp put on by JT Gasso because of the attention to detail the camp had. Everything from stretching to hitting drills was specific to our bodies and our swing and I learned more about myself as a person and a hitter. The camp was an amazing time and full of great instruction."
Balancing Passion and Purpose: A Young Athlete's Journey and Inspirations
She is a ways off from the recruiting process being able to begin for her. She did however share some schools she has interest in saying " Oklahoma, LSU, Duke, Florida State, UCLA and Missouri because they were the first schools that showed interest at my tournament games, camps and with mail." She added " All of these schools have great programs on and off the field."
Regarding her inspirations in the game, she says, "I've always aimed to watch and learn from the best college and professional softball and baseball players." She added, "My inspiration on my softball journey would have to be AJ Andrews. She excelled both on and off the field as the first female Gold Glove Winner and worked in broadcasting and media platforms like the MLB. It was amazing watching her play at Tiger Park and being in her group for LSU softball camps when I was little."
Off the field, she says, "My Mimi, she is always by my side and supports me in everything I do. She tries to come to every game." She told me, "A couple of years ago, when my dad was in the hospital with COVID for most of the travel ball season, she stepped in and traveled with me to every tournament, which meant a lot to me."
When asked about what is important to her, she says, "Academics and faith." She states, "It was instilled in me to value academics and faith. I strive to keep my grades as all A's and read my Bible every day, and have weekly youth Bible studies with friends. I take pride in being a student-athlete, and without the Lord, I wouldn't be here today. I am so grateful for the gifts He blessed me with."
