Rocco Williams Elite 2026 Ohio QB Prospect to Visit LSU and he discusses what he is looking for

Pickerington, Ohio is home to one of the premier quarterback prospects in the 2026 class, Rocco Williams. Williams was 5'11"-180 lbs as a freshman and is now up to 6'1"-195 lbs as a Sophomore. He looks to build off an impressive Freshman campaign and will have a new target that is very familiar to LSU recruiting junkies in Tayvion Galloway. Regarding what is he looking to accomplish in his sophomore season "Totally take over this offense and lead the team to an undefeated regular season and make a deep run for a state title."

Williams will be down at LSU on June 7th with the DJRS crew and Tayvion Galloway and and I asked Rocco what he is looking for on his LSU visit and he stated "Wanting to show off my arm and my ability to make any throw that is needed to be made and show my improvement from last year to this year and walk out with the most elite offer of them all." I fully expect Williams to leave with an offer.

Being a QB from Ohio what kind of effect does Joe Burrow success at LSU and in the NFL have on his view of LSU "Has a ton. Shows that Midwest kids can go down south and make an impact in the biggest of ways." He talked about his relationship with Tayvion Galloway " that's my big bro for sure and a mentor and role model to me."

On what schools he is hearing from "Ohio State, Michigan , WVU, Kentucky , LSU , Arkansas, Marshall, and some MAC." When he is not playing football he says he can be found " Lifting or throwing, or just kicking it with family and friends."
