Head Coach Beth Torina adds another piece to the puzzle in Washington transfer Kelley Lynch after losing Alea Johnson to Alabama and Ali Kilponen to graduation. Lynch will have 1 year of eligibility remaining as she has played 4 seasons at University of Washington. Coming out of high school she was the 2018-2019 Gatorade National Player of the Year
Lynch appeared in 52 games, making 40 starts with 16 coming in the circle.
Senior Season Stats :
Pitching : 9-3 record with 2 saves in 77.2 innings with a 2.43 ERA. 101 Strikeouts.
Batting : .276 Batting Average, three home runs, six doubles and 20 RBIs.She had a perfect fielding percentage .
She had her first career no-hitter vs. Bethune-Cookman, striking out a season-high 13. She also had two 1 hitters with the first coming against UNLV and she struck out nine and the second against Arizona State with seven strikeouts at Arizona State . She also had a combined no-hitter with Ruby Meylan at Oregon State, going five innings with four strikeouts
As a hitter she went 2 for-3 with four RBI vs. Bethune-Cookman. Her first home run of the season came at #2 UCLA. She then went 4-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored including a home run at #6 Stanford In the Seattle regional she singled vs. McNeese in game seven of the regional to bring across the third run of the seven-run comeback . Also, had a big game at the plate going 2-for-3 vs. #16 Utah in the WCWS .
